An Evolution to a Best Value Business Model

“Simplicity Is the Ultimate Sophistication”
AccuBlend Inline is an exciting, new company that has been evolved over thirty years of modular process experience. the culmination of an approach that delivers a quality product by the most capital-efficient method possible.
First a little background about those thirty years….
AccuBlend was founded by John R. Schott, P.E. I think it’s important to understand the back story….
Circa 1977
While attending Washington University, John first went to work for Procter & Gamble at the St. Louis Plant. This was the beginning of the blend of formal education in engineering with real-world practical experience.
Upon graduation, John went to work for Monsanto Company at the John F. Queeny Plant, spending eight years as an automation engineer in a number of diverse departments. While working at Monsanto, John completed his Masters in Finance at St. Louis University.
After Monsanto, John developed account management skills at French Gerleman in St. Louis, representing an entire array of automation product offerings, with the Rockwell Allen-Bradley line as the showcase.
In 1995, John and partner Matt Quinn founded EPIC Systems. During 24 years of controlled growth, EPIC became nationally known as THE company to go to for turkey modular process systems. During those years, the partners learned every aspect of what it takes to survive and flourish as a business in America.
Be fair to your employees
Be fair to your suppliers
Be fair to your clients
Hire the best you can find
Humanely make the tough decisions to keep the company productive and healthy
Love what you do
Add true value in the marketplace
Make decisions with the long term in mind
With visions of creating a new blueprint from the ground up, John sold the company to a private investor group after 24 years of pride in what had been created. After staying for a transitional period, John exited stage left to create a company that is the evolution of what he learned for the many years prior.
That company is AccuBlend Inline.
AccuBlend is run by John and is owned by a small investor group of like-minded entrepreneurs.
Let’s look at how the evolution delivers a quality product in the most capital-efficient price point possible.
